Thats’ right. I was honored at last nights Flyers game. They presented me with my #1 Banner that hung at the Spectrum for all these these years. It was a very proud moment for me. Read the article and see the pictures at the following link.
A little before the demolition Ceremony of the Philadelphia Spectrum I did an interview with Sean O’Brien. We talked about everything. My Hockey career, My life now, my ups, and my downs. If you would like to check it out you can find it here.

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010 After 40 Minutes on Hockey Night in Canada.
Michael Leighton played outstanding last night. The energy in the building was incredible and I have to take my hat off to the Philadelphia fans!!! You have no idea the impact you have on the game with the energy you brought to the building last night. Simply said Philadelphia fans are a huge part of the win last night! Lets Go Flyers!!!
IT GOING TO BE TOUGH TO WIN LIKE WE DID THE OTHER NIGHT 6-O. BUT THIS TEAM IS PLAYING WELL. IT GOING TO BE A PHYSICAL GAME WITH THE FLYERS COMING OUT WITH ANOTHER WIN!
At the request of the band, Pearl Jam, I will be at the Spectrum this Saturday night October 31st, to introduce them and their show. This is the final show at my old arena, The Philadelphia Spectrum, and I am honored to be part of it. I will also be doing a “Meet and Greet” so be sure and come say hello. Rock On!!
