Went to a Special Screening of the upcoming Broad Street Bullies HBO Documentary on Tuesday night.

It airs on HBO May 4th at 10pm. If you don’t have HBO find a friend that does because you don’t want to miss it.

The HBO Sports documentary Broad Street Bullies, a look at one of pro sports’ most polarizing teams, the legendary Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup championship squads of the 1970s, debuts on Tuesday, May 4 at 10 p.m. This exclusive presentation will tell the backstories of these engaging and colorful athletes, who won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1974 and 1975 with a bold, aggressive style. Broad Street Bullies includes interviews with Ed Snider and former Flyers standouts Bobby Clarke, Bill Barber, Bill Clement, Gary Dornhoefer, Bob Kelly, Bernie Parent, Ed Van Impe, Bobby Taylor, Don Saleski, Joe Watson, Orest Kindrachuck, and Dave “The Hammer” Schultz. I had an awesome time today. I got to spend some time with an amazing young man who is fighting ALS. Dustin Myers has such a positive approach to life and I truly feel I made a new friend today. Check out his blog to learn what an incredible kid he is. I am personally asking everyone to help out in anyway to help him. Send him emails, look him up on facebook or attend the beef and beer they are having for him on April 10, 2010.
