Dave from what I understand Mr. Parent agent and Mr. Ballard could not see eye to eye on a salary increase for Mr Parent. I think the trade to Tornto was great for Mr. Parents career. He was teamed up with jacques Plante who took Mr. Parent under his wing and guided the young and talented goalie in the direction of super stardom. Mr. Parent was the missing piece to the puzzle in Philly and he won back to back cups for them..so the question is would he have returned to Toronto after the WHA.....NAH!!... Bernie's heart always belonged to philly. So my question is What was it like playing along side your idol and mentor Jacques Plante and then later on having him as a goalie coach in Philly?
